You are allowed to use a pen and paper and are strongly advised to do so.

Work with a steady pace since there is a time limit.

Don't worry too much if you don't finish everything on time. Normally applicants are not able to answer all the questions within the time limit. Speed is though still important and don't get caught on one question. Move on instead and come back if you have the time.
